HVAC: Heat vs cool mode performance and airflow

Wondering if it is normal for dash vents to output less air volume in full heat compared to full cold selection with fan speed 5? Just trying to see if an actuator or door might be on its way out.

I notice about 1/2 less air coming out the vent in heat compared to cool.

I think that's normal, I remember the Envoy was like that and the Avalanche works the same way.

I think some heat is directed to the floor (heat rises) and when in AC, most comes out of the vents because cold air falls (my guess).

I don't want a lot of heat hitting me in the face; where as, I don't mind a lot of cool hitting me in the face.
