A couple years ago the ignition switch module died & wouldn't allow me to move the gear shifter out of park. I went to the Chevy dealer & printed out a procedure where you jump (2) fuses to actuate the security lock solenoid to enable the shifter to move into neutral. Does any one know which (2) fuses to jump?

I don't know about an electrical way to do it, but there is a shift lock release button on the right side of the shifter, under the console. I had to use this myself once, it was easiest to reach up from the bottom on the passenger side to press the button. I found this pic on another forum, hope it helps...
