My stock headlights are done, no amount of sanding will level them so I was looking on ebay and saw these http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMOKE-HOUSING-TINTED-LENS-HEADLIGHT-CLEAR-CORNER-LAMPS-FOR-02-09-TRAIL-BLAZER-/381283427445?hash=item58c6436475&vxp=mtr I know to avoid those overpriced ebay halogen projector ugly lights but I don't know about these, does anyone have them? seems like it would save me the hassle of doing anything to the lights (no current HID plans of any kind), I just don't know how good the output is compared to stock or if they use the stock sized bulbs or if they are like those crappy projector ones that use fog light bulbs for headlights, I already have 9011 highs and will probably swap in 9012 lows while the lights are off the truck, would just like to hear from someone that has these.

A couple guys were talking about these recently, couldn't remember which thread though. Output will be similar to stock. I don't know how much the front of the lens is tinted, but I wouldn't imagine very much if at all. The main thing is they give you clear corner lenses, and the bezel is painted black. The bulbs included will be your run of the mill halogen bulb.

Dont waste money on those. Buy Aarkon's custom projector headlights that he has for sale
I don't want projectors because I don't want HID, I've had all that on my firebird and with the hills I deal with daily there are several spots where the angle change of the road combined with the cutoff of the projector leaves me with effectively no light past a few feet in front of me when I have just the low beams on, high beams rocked, but it's not worth the time or money to me. Also I don't even know the going rate for a set or which projectors he uses, either way I'm sure it's out of the budget.

In a heartbeat if shipping would not kill the deal.

There is a set of those headlights in my garage now. Should be able to "shed some light" (haha) on them this weekend.
Be sure and let me know, I'd like to order them this weekend so I hopefully will get them by next weekend, it takes a week to get anything from Cali around here. Would like a review (and pics if possible) of the build quality if you've got some time.

edit: here are some shots of the stock headlights, it's like the outer layer is chipped. Plus I just really like the smoked look.

Yes I did they are on Capote ' truck and they seem very nice.
out of curiosity, how was the aim on the lights out of the box, I've had aftermarket lights in the past that where practically pointing straight down after install.
