Having trouble getting .mp3 discs to play.

Hi Everyone,

I am having an issue getting .mp3 files to play in my 07 Trailblazer with the Bose 6 disc changer. I burn the disk, it will load and shows track 1 but just sits there. I can scan forward on the disk but it never plays. It only shows up as there being 1 track on the disk.

I have no problem burning and playing .wav files but I was hoping to make a couple .mp3 cds for a long road trip I have coming up. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or input I would love to hear it. Thanks, everyone for the time and have a great day!

AFAIK the OE units don't play mp3's. It may have changed in model years, but I haven't seen any info on it.

I did not think stock would play mp3 as well

IIRC, my '08 Montana played MP3 on CD.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I am afraid this is a case of operator error. I misread my owners manual. It turns out my head unit is not. mp3 capable.

I feel like an idiot! Anyone need a bunch of little, shiny Frisbees? LOL!
