Well as I said in another thread I was recently hit by some one, after looking at what is needed I decided to bite the bullet and order some new tires. After much research and constantly changing my mind I decided on General Grabber AT2's. I went for the 245/75-16. Hopefully I can have these on tomorrow, baring any surprises.

Now as usual I have some questions. I will say I did alot of looking around but could not find if anyone had installed these without wheel spacers, they are the 30.5 max size according to Generals website so I am hoping I do not have to wait for spacers. Does anyone know if anyone with a GMT 360 has ran this brand and size tire with stock suspension, without spacers? I will be installing the lift hopefully soon just need to order struts, shocks and some other items. I also have the most important question white letters out or not???

White letters OUT of course!!! They wouldn't even make white letter tires if they didn't look AWESOME facing out! And we need some PICS man!

The tires should fit without the need for spacers.

Letters out mean you don't worry about scrubbing them off on the rocks. A declaration of mall cruiser-ness. Blackwall means you bought them to use.

I like the way you think. Have never been partial to the white out, this is also the first tire I have purchased in 5 years that gives me the option.

While I typically value Roadie's opinion, I must disagree here. Not all of us use our Daily Drivers to scale the Rocky Mountains and such. Some dirt roads and light off-roading in grass is about as crazy as I get. Thus white letters out. But hey call me a mall cruiser if you like, I prefer "Lowes Cruiser". Thank You.

White letters IN!

I've already rubbed a couple rocks with my coopers which would have knocked the white off mine, luckily mine are black out

White letters out cause you are proud of what you bought.

Having black out has as much to do with offroading as black wheels. Chrome has taken my truck farther and deeper than most 360 or 370s combined. I have not had the option except on one set to run white out and I did on those. I think your blue with be nicely complimented by the white letters.

Also if the white is rubbed off by rocks it is just a badge of honor like trail stripes. I have etching in my glass, stratches all over the truck, and chunks out of my wheels, but they are like scars...they come with a cool story.

They are on and fit like a glove. :wootwoot: Definitely give a more menacing appearance to the truck. I have not gone off road with them yet but on road they ride smooth and produce slightly more noise than my old Fuzion XTI's did. I will get some pics later getting ready for work.

Now these are E rated tires, I aired my old tires up to 40 PSI with the tires max being 44. These are rated for 80 PSI. I currently have them at 45 and was wondering what input anyone else had as far as what pressure is ideal for road travel. They sit nice with the 45 though.

No one can tell you what to run. The stiffer sidewalls of the E's should likely be ran at lower psi.

Run a chalk test and see how they wear at what psi.

I put my firestones on with white letters out, it looked really nice for a short while... then I drove, and drove, and drove, through snow, salt, dirt, and all the other junk. They didn't stay looking nice very long at all

They take a bit of maintenance. Bleche-white once a month and they look like new for years.

White letters in, old habits die hard. Back in the day, growing up in the Bronx, white letters out screamed new tires, which increased your odds of finding your ride on crates in the morning.

Finally putting up some pics of the new tires. I know a bit overdue.

I love these things, I have had trouble getting them to spin even on wet pavement.

I like that tread pattern. I had put new Goodyears on my GMC C1500 with a similar pattern just before I sold it. Hadn't even made the first rotation on them yet... I have the General Grabber HTS's on now. So far, so good. Straight street tread, but with 4x4, I don't think I'll have any trouble. They've done fine at my buddy's house with a sloppy yard getting a trailer in and out.

I really like the way they grip, took it out in the snow last week. Fresh unplowwed roads, never needed 4x4.tried going in the woods but turned back as 5 days of straight rain, then snow could have left me stuck in some places. Road noise went down after I aired them up, and put some miles on them.

is that size E rated. If so you might be playing with the tire pressure for a little while. They have some very stiff side walls.

ok so i got my new tires on waited long enough so tell me what you think?

Looks good  What happened to the center cap and black inserts on your front wheel? I'm sorry, but IMO the chrome needs to go, it just looks out of place without other chrome accents.

Not to be rude... but I agree with this comment about the chrome. I think it would look way better with smoked or color matched vent visors...

the black had to be removed because i messed up and the center cap was stolen when some nice people tried to steal my tires last summer. And there will be some more chrome i just need more money. lol i wish money grew on trees.
