GEARBOX Filter HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Hello everyone!
I need your help, could you tell me what type of filter gearbox day I need for my car.
the serial number here: 1GNDTT13S822204104
2002 LTZ 4.2l 6 CYLINDERS
Thank you for your help.
I'm trying to find a garage in France for make a review.

It either has an obvious indentation for a deep pan or is flat which is a shallow pan

Those numbers you gave are not on the transmission. Those numbers you mentioned are two filter kit numbers from the company Hastings for the 4L60E transmission. The TF113 is the shallow pan filter, the TF156 it the deep pan filter. You won't find them printed on the transmission anywhere.

The way to tell which filter you need is to simply look at the bottom of the transmission pan. If it is completely flat across the pan, it is the shallow pan and needs the TF113. If it has a "step" in the pan (has a shallow spot and a deeper spot) then you have the deep pan and need the TF156.

Yep that is the deep pan (see the step on the right side). So the TF156 is what you need.

Hastings is a good brand. So is Wix (part # 58847), and ACDelco ( # 24208576) but is more expensive.

Now I know what you meant with "reference" :biggrin:
