Chrome and stick on hood scoops :2thumbsup:

:rotfl:

What's funny is the hood scoops appear to be on the wrong sides. That look looks ugly, it really looks like they should at least trade places so the angles aren't pointing toward the center.

Surprised no one has said anything about the camo around the rear wheels. All that chrome and then real tree.

I think that is just chrome reflecting whatever is around it.

And surprisingly stuck with the stock rims, which aren't even shiny. In fact, those rims are kind of ugly. The six-point ones that were shiny were much nicer.

Anyone else notice the modified running board? The front end still has its curve underneath, but it's been hacked and plugged at the other end.

Looking closer, those look like modified tubular nerf bars, not real running boards.

And changing the rims - now that would cost real coin. Not like the other mostly-adhesive mods.

What's with the flowery script in the back window? I never see that near me unless the vehicle is a tribute to a dead grandmother or somebody and there's always a tombstone set of dates included.

Does it skip on the rear curve, too? Maybe the EXT/XL ones look "normal" and the SWB ones forgo the curve because of the proximity of the door to the wheel. I'll stick with my Rainier ones :rotfl:

Hey, I have those wheels!!! I like them on my Envoy because they actually match the paint color of the rest of it. Mom's Voy has the factory chrome ones, but I wouldn't trade for anything.

Hey - those are the better wheels (says the guy who has those wheels). Personally I don't like the chrome ones, but to each his own. I had those wheels, along with the chrome grille, door guards and badging. I painted most of the grille (pics under "what did you do to your GMT today?")

No one seemed to notice the rub strip on the passenger side of the grille guard hanging off.

It's not about the shine, it's about the design. And the design...

I do agree that they look bad on that particular vehicle - all the add on crap really makes takes something away from them. I think you'd like them if you saw them on something like, say, my Envoy. :rotfl: We gotta meet up one of these days when I'm going through Pennsboro. Now that I've got her exterior looking like I want, the wheels add to it IMO, and I honestly think that in my particular case that the chrome ones would make it look bad.

I like the design. I think it enhances the classy look instead of having just a straight spoke design.

I really don't see anything wrong with it, this is a show truck if I have ever seen one.

That's terrible, I swear it looked like camo print.

As a motorcyclist, I've always heard the phrase,
"Chrome don't get you home."

Wow, I'm nauseated right now. Only chrome on my TB is the strip in the grill and I want to get one in color and paint to match the body.

I would imagine if you have the materials to properly prepare the surface, the one you have could be painted without needing to get a new one.
