Hey Sparky... Since you seem to be the only member coming from across the bridge, at the moment, can I ask you a favor? I'm prepared to jump the bridge, to go get my case of Yuengling, but if you could bring it with you, I'll pay you back and get your first drink for ya!

Just the good old' regular lager. CANS! Please! Bottles skunk out too quick. And if you can find it warm, even better. I find when you buy cold beer, let it warm, and then chill it again, it seems to skunk out, too. And make that TWO drinks I owe you, for me being difficult... Oh, what the hell, make it three beers. LOL.

Haha. The lager skunks out because it isn't a dark bottle. Dark bottles are the best IMO. Since they use a light bottle for the lager it does have that tendency I guess.

The local store keeps it chilled usually, but sometimes they have some "overflow" on the other side of the aisle that isn't kept cold.

Getting a couple things ironed out, before the meet. Interior, and oil change, and fluid check tomorrow. Wash and wax, Saturday morning. Did this, and a little vacuuming, tonight.

FYI...according to the brewers I worked with at a microbrewery, you have to basically boil and freeze a beer several times before it is skunked. Just getting warm n chilled in a cooler then warm again is not enough. Bottle color does make a difference but only if left in the sun or near a direct source of light.

Even with only five people, I'd still say the meet was a success. Had a good time, and got to meet some cool people. Can't wait to see the pics posted up here.

Hellz yeah! BTW, between the trip up, and back, I got approx 19.5 mpg.
