Flashing check engine after fuel filter change. Misfire cylinder 6.

I replaced the fuel filter on my 2004 envoy v6 4.2 L. The car is driving rough, CEL started flashing, and code shows misfire in cylinder 6.

No check engine and vehicle was running fine before the fuel filter change I saw drips of gas from the fuel filter. After replacing the filter, no leaks at all, but car is misfiring.

Could i have put the lines in wrong? I connected the "out" nozzle on the new filter to the fuel line that has the pressure gauge connector hooked to it. Do i have the lines on wrong?

Just do the usual for finding a misfire by swapping #6 coil with another and see if it follows. Then. Heck the plug in case its faulty. After that, look at the possibility dirt got in during the filter change. You'd need to do an injector balance test to see if the injector is at fault. You would need a high end scanner or Tech 2 to do this.
