Yea I can hollow it out, but would need a day or 2 to pour the epoxy in place of it.

Envy and yeah like that green would be cool. are they the same fitment for an envoy?

I was wondering the same thing on dimensions. 24" X 1.625" is what TB sills are.

Since this is a programming issue and a one only for ENVY, I'm sure its going to cost more. How much more, I would have to ask Jim.

I agree I find it hard to believe he would put that on his SS

Yup, I do some stuff that is out of the norm to mine, but that would not be one. I'll stick to lighting, black Cherry wood interior, hide-a-plate and my Decepticon badge. :wootwoot:
oh and TB mud guards LOL (hey I stopped alot of rock chips and they don't look that bad)

Nope, i gave Kevin an advance in making these bad boys. but i wanted mine to be a bit different then regular production.

I'll call him tomorrow and see how he is doing.

Hey guys, I'm up in Iowa right now taking care of some cleanup on the farm with my son who just graduated. Then on Thursday we run over to my mom's and check on her (she'll be 90 in Oct- still driving). Had to get some father/son time in before he is off to college. I'll be back Sunday.

I'd be interested in some polished white lighted bowtie sills.

Hey John,
Thanks for your interest. The stainless sills come with a brushed finish so it will take a few days to polish them. The reason I have them brushed is less work from the start for me and also they won't show scratches. Being that they often get stepped on or feet drag across them, I wanted to point that out to you. So if you still want polished, I can get to work on them and get them done by weekend.

Ace,
I should have yours done by weekend also. Just wanted to double check on which black powdercoating you wanted.

I didn't expect such a quick response  I was just letting you know I am interested in getting a set. Right this minute, I can't, I've got too much going on and cash flow is tight because I just bought my '08 Trailblazer with cash out of pocket. Probably the next month or so.

I would prefer polished over brushed. If you want to send them to me bare, I can polish them myself to save you the time and energy.

I could do that but then you would need to fill the openings with Epoxy after that. I don't mind but thought you should know epoxy can't be poured until after they are polished. I am willing to help anyone out in any way in any way I can.

Any updates on if you would be able to do a Denali text?

I can, its just a matter of running over to the shop and talking with Jim. I know my cost will be more for one set, just don't know how much more. If you know of any others with Denalis let me know. A typical run is 10 pairs. Plus I need to spec the dimensions.

Don't know of any Denalis that actually work on their car, at least not locally lol. Dimensions should be the same, I'll try get you measurements tomorrow though.

If they are the same then its 24" by 1 5/8". I need to figure out the scale of the letters.

Ok confirmed, the sills are 24" x 1-5/8". Currently the Denali text is about 9-10" in length, and around 1" tall to give you something to work with.
