Last night I took a seminar on A/C systems. The emcee (if that's what you call him lol) recommended using this over the IR temp gun that I have been used to using for more accurate readings of evap/condenser inlet/outlet temps. He used clamp attachments (not shown in this pic) that clamped right onto the lines. I have to say that some of the diagnostic scenarios where this tool was used sure made it look like a time saver.
Just looking for some "real world" feedback before I invest in one.
Also I learned that the new A/C refrigerant that will be phased in starting now, hfo1234yf, sucks.
