So had some spare time and made some light bar brackets for a 50" curved light bar I bought and after experimenting with different locations I decided to mount them on the door pillars behind the window trim as I wanted the light to sit low on the windshield mostly for a cleaner look and to help keep down the possibility of wind noise.tjis is what I came up with, I still have to paint the mount and run the wiring inside to the switch but it came out better than I thought. Later on if anyone is interested I'll post the template with some quick bending instructions. I'll also post picks of the wire routing and switch mount when I'm finished. The light I went with was the Xtreme 50" curved with the amber backlighting so if you switch it one direction you get a nice low keyed amber light all the way across and in the other direction you get your deer in headlight mode. I'll post picks of the finished product in a couple of days.

A few pics of the finished light although I did loose my template for the brackets, when I get a chance I'll try and make a new one
