CV Axle Boot Replacement

I replaced the outer cv boot a few thousand miles ago and it has split. It was a neoprene EMPI brand.
There is a Dorman universal boot, and chinese universal boots that claim to be made out of silicone.
I don't want to put on another crappy EMPI boot again.

Does anyone know a good replacement option? Something that is known to last more than a few thousand miles.......

For the CV axles on the GMT360, I usually try to go to a salvage yard and find a OEM one, with in tact OEM boots. I usually get the best lifespan out of them, far better than anything I have gotten from a parts store.

I have to agree with @TollKeeper . For the trouble of pulling the axle and taking it apart to replace just the boot, which may have been contaminated and damaged, might as well replace the whole thing.

cv axle is in good shape other than the boot, so I'd like to keep it. I have to replace both balljoint boots so the knuckle will have to be removed anyway.
I'll try a universal silicone boot. It even comes in chevy blue:wooot:
