If the airbag is deployed, does the clockspring go bad? Or can it be used again and just replace the airbag? Need help asap please

The airbag is in most basic terms a "bomb". Deployment often makes enough heat to melt the connectors at the bag. In that case you need to replace the coil.

Most importantly when the bags go off the SDM(airbag computer) sets a hard code that can not be cleared with a scan tool! The SDM either needs to be sent out and repaired or replaced and programed to the truck.

in all my years, the clock spring is bad when the bag deploys.... I've read that sometimes you can get away with it, but through my personal experience, they're bad after the airbag deploys...
