clicking actuator - like so may can i disable

is it possible to just disable the actuator while it is set to blow thru main vents so i don't have to hear the clicking - my ac guy wants 5.5 hours plus the part to replace it - thats like 600$ to do it myself i would need to start by step by step taking the dash out and i have not seen that despite my cruising the threads to exhaustion - meantime i am about to take my gun downstairs and blow a hole thru the dash - just had my blower and resistor module replace

Sure. Just yank the connector off the actuator and it will shut up. Check the manuals available on the site for how to remove the dash. This only took me a couple of hours to get it to this condition. That scares me. I would definitely end up with a few left-over screws/bolts and would end up driving it off a cliff from all the resulting rattles under the dash.

That was half the intent of the picture. Lots of what I do to and with the Roadiemobile scares people.
