Catback exhaust fit my 9-7x? If so will it pass NY inspection?

Title says it all. I deleted my resonator and now im just rocking a straight pipe. I was considering a exhaust tip. However the other day I saw a rainier with a catback exhaust, not sure if it was magnaflow or boral, whichever it was it did sound nice. Would this work for my truck? And if so will I pass NY inspection?

Since the catalytic converter is the last emissions control device on the truck then a cat-back exhaust would have zero effect on test results. That is unless your cited for sound pollution if the laws mandate such an act.

Try searching Trailblazer instead of Rainer. All of the running gear is the same its just the body/interior thats different.
