Thanks Marc. Dude I didn't realize how horrible of pictures my phone takes. I need a new one, then I'll be able to get some good shots.

Re-done several wiring for LEDs, cleaned things up a bit under the hood, none are visible now. Put 2 5053 green strips directly on grill, hidden from view, so now there's a bright green ambient glow instead of those white strips I had facing out. Added quick discinnects so I can remove grill and still keep the strips in place. Washed and detailed interior, replaced ignition switch

Thanks Carlton, I really took my time to do everything correctly, especially sanding the primer to get it smooth before starting the layers of paint

It does look stealthy doesn't it lol? I'm very glad to have taken the more serious, aggressive route when it comes to my rig

Good work, Aaron! I guess Brandon used color matched paint for his. He told me he went though 8 cans iirc. Those guys are like $8 a pop.

Glad to see you made it work with Krylon.

Would love to see your rig in person but, from the pics it looks clean AF. Job well done!

Thanks Ryan, yeah he did. I don't use that stuff because its expensive. I've always used Krylon, really great stuff. The ones I used this time had built-in primer, so that was a plus considering I was already using auto primer anyway. I did all this with about 1 can, I switch cans when it starts to have difficulty at an angle.

Yeah she can be pretty clean looking, especially my wheels, spend a lot of time on them. When I can finally get this baby dipped and not have to look at horrible paint anymore I'll be extremely happy and a lot less concerned. Maybe then I will start looking for a car show somewhere. She'd look great at that point.

Installed the cheap eBay intake, I dunno how I feel about it yet. Now don't judge yet, Airaid is for sure of great quality & fitment, but I'm gonna run some tests to compare both. Visually it looks like this intake is a smaller diameter than the Airaid, but turns out not at all. The Airaid one is just thicker. Figured I'd heat wrap this to give it a chance to have some sort of heat absorbing resistance given its aluminum and has no heat shield near the filter. Perhaps I'll mock one up? We'll see how things go and if it stays in one piece.

I like the blue accents under the hood. I thought about doing my intake in blue silicone tubing, but thought it might look odd without modding other stuff to match, so went with black. Kinda sorta regretting that now that I see yours.

I'm sure people would like how it looks, I love the way that heat wrap looks. Unfortunately the filter doesn't line up where I would of wanted, its not directly behind the gap in the middle of the headlight & cut out in the SS bumper

You're talking about the mesh opening on the cross bar on the grill correct?

Well the cross hatched portion. [emoji13] I've never seen an ss up close so I couldn't really tell you if that'll actually make a significant difference or not. I've heard it sounds better without the black box though so either way it's a plus right? Maybe rotate the pipe to get it closer to the opening?

There's no room to add any type of elbow or anything to route it, filter just fits where it sits. No room

Happened to spot the speakers I used for the front doors back in stock, so I plopped those in the rear doors and then put those SS panels on. All my SS panels are missing interior door handle bezels as they all broke a long time ago from constant removal. Will order those eventually, obviously haven't been in a rush to get around to that.

Thought of maybe trying out white as a new accent color on my rig, thoughts? Now I know people don't recommend that and seldom paint their calipers white, but I spend a lot of time cleaning my wheels and calipers anyway, even use a toothbrush. I feel it'd look interesting. Do the bowtie white as well?

I think white would look nice. If you go with all black rims you can also go with yellow and make it a true bat mobile. :twocents:

Only 2 full black wheels I like:
SS wheels (flat or gloss) and Verde Invictus

I would absolutely love to do yellow calipers, but nobody in the world has made super yellow colored LED strips that I can use to replace all the green strips I have on the outside. I would want everything to match if I did that. Its rather saddening I know I wouldn't be able to match everything color wise. Then I could really have a true batman color scheme going on

I'm bored of the blue, they darkened a tad over time. Time for something new. If not white then what do you suggest?

Nah, don't like honestly. What about green? Some sort of green? You suggested that before, but it needs to be as close as typical LED green as possible

Looks dark

Damn this is a tough decision. I'm tired of having too many colors going on. At least my grill and wheel wells match with green LEDs. Blue LEDs in domes, resoldering the light switch and rear wiper control blue instead if having the UV color. Door modules green still
