Well haven't been around in a while. I recently got a mini milling machine from Little Machine Shop and have been making parts like everyday. But I have been working on a steering box for a go kart the past couple days with gears from a grinder that gave out a few months ago.

Here's the initial design of the steering box.

I bored out the holes and while everything fit perfectly, the big gear is going to need more support, so I'm going to extend the big gears' rod through to the top, or the other side of the box. The top will be some thickness of plexiglass so you will be able to see through to the gears.


I'm still designing and milling out circuits. This one was for a customer that wanted under dash lights to be activated both when the door was opened or when a switch was turned.

Not sure if I posted this yet, but Here are a couple of my 3D prints I've done with my Makerbot Thing-O-Matic. The bottom right two squarish prints I used to mount a projector to the ceiling in a basement.

Here's the projector hanging with enough room to be totally adjustable.

Also got a boring bar for my mill. this object is a support to the table on my small CNC machine(circuit milling machine) that I am converting to aluminum.

I wish I had the time and the resources to have my own equipment. One of my favorite things is machining.
