Bumper ?

Is the metal stock bumper mounted rigid or is it one of the shock absorbing types?

Has anyone welded to the bumper? If so what rod did you use?

I have a brush guard coming and I'm thinking about installing some flat bar from the front of the bumper to the guard to give it more strength.

stock bumper is mounted rigid. Take look at this.
