Are your roof racks moved all the way to the rear? my manual says that they will whistle(wind noise) if not....Mike.

Head on wind is odd due to you're driving forward all the time and it's not whistling.

What speed were you traveling and the wind speed? Add them together and get the delta (total) wind speed against your truck. Perhaps the information from Northcreek added with mine, could be an 80+ or 90+ mph wind velocity at your rack is causing it. If you ever drive that fast on a calm day, maybe it will make the noise.

Good luck!

edit: May also be door/window weather stripping or other grommet being overcome by the total velocity. Obviously, I am just guessing. Perhaps another user has factual knowledge.

So, it gets quieter when I push up on the ceiling liner near the console.

Sorry haven't watched the vids, do you have a sunroof?

Maybe you've got a slight windshield leak?

I do have a sunroof. How would I fix a windshield leak?

OK if you do have a sunroof I'd suspect an air leak there more than a windshield leak.

Apparantly i missed this post. The weather has been crappy so i havent had a chance to test anything, but as soon as it dries up outside, i plan to tape up all of the seals with electrical tape and take it on the highway. See if it is still doing it.

What is the outside temp? Mine made this nose when it was cold out (less than 20 degrees) and I was travelling at highway speeds. When I had the windshield replaced, it went away.

Bought a bottle of windshield sealant. Going to try this today and see if it fixes it.

Sealant took care of it
