So I got my alarm system installed (for the most part at this time), and I tried to wire in a second security LED. The security light that comes with the system is built into the antenna, its 2 LED's on each side. When I wire in the extra one the antenna blinks at a diminished brightness, and the other LED does nothing. I was able to hook up2 LED's to the status light output, but I want the ones on the antenna to work as well as any additional ones. I have not tested voltage yet to see what I'm working with, but I am assuming its low like 5v.
Does anyone know of a way I can tap this signal and some kind of relay, or something to allow for extra status lights to be added, or am I going to have to go with either the antenna or the other ones?
