Sold my first gen Cummins for $8k and picked this up for $6500. 2002 Silverado 2500HD extended cab, long bed, 4x4, 6.0L, NV4500 5-speed manual trans, NV261 manual T-case, 10.5" full float rear disc rear end, 9.25" front diff, power locks/windows, cruise, working A/C, etc, new tires, sprayed in bedliner, and 141,000 miles.

I'm getting new Duratracs put on it this Saturday morning, and selling the Discoverer ATRs that are on it. I really do like the tires (really quiet, good in the rain, etc), but they're not aggressive enough for the wood hauling, deer getting, and snow driving that this will primarily do.

Looking good!

Now I'm not the only Silverado around here. But you do have me beat in a few categories.

Sweet truck! Nice tow setup......6.0 is a great motor and teamed with the 5-speed.... I assume you hunted a manual trans specifically or did it just happen?

Thanks! Yeah, Ideally, I was looking for either transmission with an 8.1L (6-speed manual or 5-speed Allison), or a 6.0L with a manual trans. However, if the price was good enough, I would have done a 6.0L / 4L80E.
