Really coming along nicely Mike. Thanks a bunch for your hard work!!!

Thanks for the help, too, Matt!

It's really turning out better than I could have expected! That picture was 7 hours from when they showed up and I had a little bit of an idea what I was going to do. We made the upper and lower mounts, then I sat there and stared at it, then made a cardboard piece, then made a metal piece and tacked it on, then stared at it some more, and did it all over again, and so on... The bottom of it is 1/2" out from the frame, and the top is like 1.5" out from the bottom of the grill. He's getting shackle mounts and a 2" receiver, as well as a full tube brush guard.

Mike

Got the welded/ground bumper on and did the tube yesterday.

Got 'er done and painted up last night, then mounted and got them headed back home by noon, today.

Nice work

I got my new bumper mounted and the lights wired up. I have to say it is simply amazing!!!

Here is Mike bending the tube for the brush guard.

Here are the lights mounted up and wire run. Yes, the wire runs into the brush guard tubes and down either side into the back side of the bumper. From there it is in wire loom and into my existing wiring.

He truly is a magician with metal!!! The pictures don't do this bumper justice. The curve on the top of the bumper is just that, curved. Pretty impressive to do given the fact that this was all flat sheet metal welded together in individual pieces.

Thanks, Matt!

I didn't like the way the larger inside angle hit so sharp, so I stacked up some welds and blended them all together for a much larger radius. For these, I pushed the gun, instead of pulling it, so the welds were flatter and easier to blend into a larger, smoother radius with fewer beads.

curves on a bumper?!?!?! that's not manly at all, it's gotta be hard sharp lines everywhere... jesus.

looks damn fine sir.

Regulator, That bumper looks so good on your rig. That's a really sweet looking ride.

Bartonmd, Nice design. so clean sleek but at the same time very tough looking.

Nice job to both of you.
