What did you park beside? (or parked beside you!)

Notice it's a Ford...

IIRC, Ford is the only company who will allow a 4WD conversion of the full size van (from a specific vendor), and will warranty the drivetrain.

Stopped at gas station on the way home to get milk and come out to find this.

I guess only a narrow vehicle could park between us.

Didn't have my camera, but I pulled into a spot at Home Depot the other day and was nose to nose with what appeared to be a white SS. Once I got out I noticed the Manufacturer plate and the LSS7 badges on the doors and tail end

So, this morning I dropped the boys off at daycare. There were a lot of people dropping off at the time I was there. I normally would not have parked on the same side as everyone else since there were so many cars. But, by the time I got both boys out of their car seats, some of the parents had left. That left me with this photo opportunity....

No, I didn't. The furthest one, with the advertisement, is always parked behind the business. The one in front of ours I have never seen before. I did not find the owner inside. There are 3 classes, so they may have been dropping off in a different class.

I got swarmed by a bunch of Camaro's and Corvette's! Went out to an early Thanksgiving lunch with these guys. Out of place much?

I took these pics this am for the "scavenger hunt" thread looking for your GMT with your favorite sport. I was too late to post them there so I thought I'd post em here since I took em...

:iagree: I loved my 6th gen civic when I had it, but I sold her and bought the TB!

Hahaha yea the older ones were the car everyone wanted as their first car, the newer ones are too grandma carish
Domestic cars have always been a part of the family, my dad owned 2 blazers, the envoy in 02 when it first came out, pontiac torrent (which was a piece of junk imo) dodge durango, and now a lincoln aviator but he's looking for a 06+ envoy or TB to trade it for hahaha
There are a few exceptions of imports i would buy tho lol including all the supercars but it doesnt really count lol

There are at least 2 black Trailblazer SS's within a couple blocks of me. We keep passing each other in town during the summer. No decals or fancy stuff. Just stock. They look well kempt. I think they want to stay low profile.

I see so many gmt cars around my area and a hand full of modded ones also. Never really bother anymore trying to see if there might be a member on here!

Hahaha i havent seen a ss gmc yet lol but for the TBs that are going with the ss conversion or the silverado ss conversions i dont mind as much because i would love to have a ss too but without the crazy gas prices or insurance or parts price lol plus i'd prolly get wayyy too many speeding tickets and stunt driving tickets :rotfl:

I saw 2 yesterday. 1 guy had smoke tails and hood scoops. Looked pretty sweet. The other guy the only mod i saw was a resonator delete. I'm pretty sure I've seen the res delete guy around before though. Both were black.

I love second generation blazers. I'd own another one in a heart beat. I had a first gen for a while til something took a crap and i didnt want to bother fixing it.

I am the opposite. Despise the 2nd gen s series but love the 1st gen. The second had turning radius of a semi n plastic crap everywhere.

Yeah and it's very difficult to find any for sale atm. Owners seem to be sticking with them even when gas is high. That also tells you a lot about their longevity and how much they are liked. Many times I see immaculate pre-2006 Envoy Denali's (wiper gives it away). Wish I owned one. Maybe some day. Also saw a new 2013 GMC Yukon on the road today. Very nice.

The yukons are nice, we have one. But of the GMC line right now I like the acadia denalli the most.

I reviewed the Acadia and I wasn't impressed. Reason is it has no greater towing capacity than my Envoy and also because it has a transverse engine. Granted it's a nicer 3.6 V6 engine with slightly better fuel economy but the Denali is no different than the other Acadia's power plant wise.
