Mileage drops from 20-21 mpg to 10-12 mpg pulling this.

Don't know that I've ever seen a trolling motor with a shaft that long. Very nice boat.

It's around 4000 lbs, depending on how much fuel is in the tank. I usually run 60-65 on the highway in 3rd. It has the 3.73 rear end. I thought the mileage would be a little better than that, but as far as ability, it's been great. I've had no problem pulling it anywhere.

Does seem a little low on the mpg !!! do you tow with a cover on the boat ??

The trailer is a pig, though: 2400 lbs. empty, and the cargo capacity is only 1900 lbs!

Wow, My utility trailer is only 8 feet long, but it weighs 900#, and i had over 2100# of mulch in it last weekend

Yeah, I would have used my personal utility trailer (8' bed, single axle, 3500 lb. axle, 1000 lbs. empty), but I needed something to haul some 16 ft. 4x6" lumber beams. I had to lay them crosswise in the 12' U-haul, but we only overhung the front of the trailer by about a foot. I used the same trailer to haul the rotten remains of the old deck off when I got the new lumber home. I was suprised when I scaled out at the dump at 8500 lbs coming, and 7400 lbs. going. I couldn't believe that I lifted out 1,100 lbs. of deck all by myself (no tools other than my arms!)

Today I was towing this one here. I know not a great picture, but that's all I got.
When I put on the towing strap, it was kind of dangerous, and here I am a little short on time.

No, never. There must be enough stop-and-go driving on the way to the ramps to drag it down. The DIC will flicker between 16 and 17 when running about 40-45, but that won't cut it on the highway!

Here's one more that makes the LT look relatively small:

Nice travel trailer. The wife and I are looking to buy at travel trailer sometime next year in the same weight class. The I6 does well with around 4,000 lbs or less behind it. Anything heavier and the strain becomes noticable with up-hill grades.

We are around 5,000lb with our travel trailer. Yes hills become more of a challenge but the Trailblazer still does it OK with plenty of RPM !!

A friend has been looking for a car trailer... A family friend of mine was selling his, so I get to tow this (empty) from my place to NE Idaho tomorrow. I'm so tempted to keep it. The sooner I ditch it, the sooner the temptation goes away... For now

No trailer brakes.... They are wired but not functioning (disclosed by the seller). The thought crossed my mind to pop on craigslist, but I'd rather not have the added weight without the brakes to back it up.... And I'm already getting comped for gas

Towed a car that had its timing belt ripped over 6 lanes onto a parking lot.
Time: about 5 minutes.
Money made: 10 bucks
Picture: forgot it again
