I was doing a google search and this pic came up. Did not know it has been around that long. Looks like someone wasted a lot of money.

Been seeing many of these DHS rigs around town lately. Weird thing is that they have tons of both Explorers and Tahoes in their fleet. Hard to tell, but the door says FEDERAL PROTECTIVE SERVICES and the front fender has the US Seal and says HOMELAND SECURITY.

I think this may have been a Chevrolet. Note the Bowtie underneath the hatch button, the Bowtie sticker above 'TrailBlazer' emblem, and the Bowtie hitch cover.

Not all people driving a handicapped vehicles are handicapped. I have handicap plates because my dad only has one leg, I only use the handi-spot when I'm with him. If that is the case they are just D-Bags taking two spots or they might be really handicapped and the designated areas are full and need more space. Just my opinion.

If it was a case where someone handicapped needed a spot, and there wasn't one available, that's one thing, and I'm fine with that.

But my recent, and somewhat frequent experience, is with this woman that works in the same office building as me. She drives a Mercedes coupe with handicap plates. Not sure how injured she is, but she does have a walking impediment. There are 2 handicapped spots by the front door, and 2 more by the side door where I park. The handicap spots on the side of the building are always open, but she never parks in them. She'll take one of the choice regular spots, and park way off center. Not as bad as in the pic that was posted, but enough to make you wonder if you can get your door open without hitting her car if you try to park on the short side. This is what came to mind when I saw that pic.

Nope! Not plasti-dip. Its actually Krylon Fusion, satin black. Grill, and bug guard. The wheels have been dipped, though. It still looks decent with a wash, but needs another sanding and coat. Road debris has put chips in the paint, and small amounts of chrome show through. I need to find time where I can paint, and let it sit for a day or two, to harden better.

Those hybrid campers are cool. The house in the background is nice too.

My trailer is one of those Trailmanors. Lightweight, opens up like a transformer toy.

I remember yours was the first I heard of like that when you mentioned it years ago. Pretty cool campers really. Seems I must notice them more because I see them occasionally these days. About how much do you figure loaded up and headed out?
