nice topic
hoping to see alot of entries

Voymom wanted me to pick something for her win, so I hope she likes this. It's pretty open really, by historic I simply mean old, like the barn in some of Hardtrailz pics. Unique, like Fadyasha's work building with all the car shades or something with interesting architecture. I know I have a lot of shot options close by so I'm sure everyone else will too. Mine will have to be a front pic because I have the ugly snowshoes on.

Looking forward to some nice pics

Hmm..... February is black history month, I do live 45 mins from Harriet Tubman's house.... Not sure how close I could park to it tho. Might swing by there and stop at Bass Pro to kill two birds with 1 stone, guess ill have to check my scheduling.

Could this be any historical site or just buildings?

There should be a building somewhere in the pic, or at least a tee pee or two....

Here's my GMT with the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Basilica of St. John the Baptist - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Construction was finished in 1855. This church has been designated as one of Canada's national historic sites and draws many tourists.

Nice pic! I love old buildings and that ones old and big, the building I haven't got too yet for a pic (thanks to salt n dirty truck) was built 1859 but the road it's on was an old indian trail dating back to 1784.

I hope Big Ed considers an extension on this contest to get a few more pics in. I notice sometimes it takes longer to get a few entries due to weather and time of year.

Nice pics - old impressive architecture makes it easy to get a good shot eh?

Just curious - what was it like this time last year in terms of slow/diminished response? Has there been much of a benefit to extensions, or is it better to move on to a fresh topic that gets people out there?

Can't remember what it was like last year but I got a feeling its just the time of year/weather. I know that's my excuse. I'm not a fan of taking pictures of the truck when its covered in salt. I just wanted to get a quick picture last night to beat the deadline so I ran the truck through the carwash. It was -10c over night and I had to fight to get my door open this morning

I'm all for an extension, I like the topic. However, I think the next topic will have just as few responses.

Reply if you plan or are trying to get a pic to submit but just need more time. That should give Big Ed the info required to decided if an extension will help. I like this topic and would love to see more entries.

GIVE HER A BATH! Haha I washed mine today and had to do it twice because the salt didn't all come off the first time! Buffalo winters...

This is my 2005 Buick Rainier sitting out front of the Hamburg Fairgrounds Casino. Not necessarily an awesome building, but quite unique and made for a good night shot!

I've got another idea for a photo also. I drive by the Buffalo Airport, an awesome building with neat architecture, and I want to sit in front of it and wait for a plane to fly over and get the whole thing. Maybe when I'm not busy!

Maybe I can get the hubby to catch a picture of the truck tomorrow. I would play but I don't think it would be fair to win 3x in a row
