On first glance, I thought you managed to get your hands on some Ascender tails... Nice job.

They look good!

I just got finished (finally) painting my other one. I've been driving around for a month with a single modified taillight.

Yours looks pretty good too.

I think with us just getting this site rolling you guys should do write-ups and post them up for anyone that wants to do them can without trying to do it without asking a ton of questions.

That looks really good! The yellow on the tails has to be the ugliest thing on the Envoys!

Now, can you let us mere mortals in on your secrets? With lots o pics!
Could you write up a how-to? I'd wager that there are a few people here who would like to do this.

My bad for not taking how to pics. It is incredibly simple. There are simply two screws holding in place each tail light. Just unscrew each tail light and wiggle out each tail light and then disconnect the wire from the bulb.

Next mask off the tail lights except for the amber lens.

Next spray paint with a few light coats with this:

Replace tail lights and walla!

I would hit them with some clear. I've seen nite-shades fade without clear.

Great turn out! especially that Envoy's dont have options like the TBs, Now if only you can install some leds in there  I know it's doable as a local shop in my area installs Led strips for all lights regardless :wootwoot:
