Hi everyone! I’m trying to get to the manual release for my endgate on a 2004 XUV. I can release the two on the driver’s side, but the passenger side seems impossible to get to. Does anyone have a diagram or know of any tricks to get it to release?

I helped a buddy of mine with his XUV when he needed to replace the end gate window regulator. Due to the glass being partially open, we couldn't drop the gate, only swing it open, and that required the manual release on the driver's side. Checking GMSI, there doesn't appear to be any releases on the passenger side to allow dropping the gate.
Once we were able to get the glass all the way down, it released under normal power with the LP pocket switches.
