NEED HELP XL vacuum line (for rear heat) to intake manifold?

I found the line under the coolant overflow tank. If it's not connected to the intake then does that mean there is no coolant flow to the rear heater core? The intake port is capped

Quite possibly. Might depend on what the default no vacuum position of that valve is. Also check that it's still there or that the hoses to the rear heater core aren't capped as well.

I know the coolant line is connected as it was tough to get that "quick connect" line on that goes down the driver side. Had to get at it through the wheel well which wasn't fun. I was curious if opening the vacuum line up to the coolant valve will actually open it and divert coolant to the rear. I guess there is only one way to find out..... I'll reply with an answer.
