Wiring Back up Camera to HU to Back up source

Hi guys, I’m looking for some electrical help. I'm in the middle of wiring up a backup camera and I'm wondering would it be an issue if I were to take the positive wire from the back up camera and pair it with the wire off the HU that needs to go to a backup source, and then wire both to one back up source?

That should work. Use the light green wire off the tail light assembly. Do a search for back-up camera install here and you will find a post about how I did it. I think this is what you mean, but please verify.
