envoy box since in my envoy empty with no sub, so yeah its pretty much scrapped. it was too small of a box for the sub plus the port didn't help. if it was sealed it might have sounded better but then again the sub i had was port hungry. I have a new sub waiting for a box build etc but first gotta finish this one up.

Well the weekend wasn't as productive as I thought it would be.... big part of the reason was I ran out of resin just one layer in but I made sure the first layer was solid. This is probably the biggest glass job I have done in regards to area being covered. Took me about a good two hours to get it covered in the first layer....took a break after the first hour since my arm was killing me from jabbing so much lol
anyways not much has changed so I only snapped a pic of it drying

so last sunday i was planning on working on the box and did get 1 full layer on the amp rack and another layer on the middle portion of the sub area but didnt have the nerve to finish the rest since i got the news my grandfather passed away that day..... this is on the back burner until this weekend. it will help me get my mind off things working on it. so stay posted everyone lol

so no pictures to update with but i will say i have 3 layers down on the sub area and 2 on the amp side... some spots on the amp area will need another layer and the sub needs about 2 more. i will probably hit the sub area outside twice and then in certain areas on the inside i will lay down a layer. should be done dropping layers this weekend if not early next week. then the fun begins of body work.

So I laid filler all on top of the box but my back wasnt on my side today so I didnt get much sanding done

Yeah back pain sucks..... mine stems from a car accident from over 10years ago when I was 16....it comes n goes n some days r better than others.


Anyways I appreciate the kind words about this project..... next step is to sand and repeat the whole process lol

Glasswork is fun. Definitely adds a custom touch..... best way to learn is trial n error. The least fun part is body work lol.
