I got paid pretty well, but you know the Air Force gets paid better (I can't count the number of times I heard that from Army/Marines)

Army: 1987 - 2000 13F, reclassed to 16T->14T just as reup bonuses were phased out NCOs
Army Reserve: 2000 - 2004 13F, too many senior NCO's in the MOS, so I got switched out to be a platoon sergeant because I was in the right place a the wrong time

did too many things to be proficient at any one skill, didn't focus on awards, busted my ass for others and got injured by an idiot in an accident...now retired

in the field, af def eats better (ac is nice too) . Pensacola NAS has some good food though. I've been in some rough AF chow halls though.
