Mine was the same :frown:, I thought about using a LED strip to fill it.

Washers, nice touch, are the nozzles black, or is it just the light angle?

My 2003 Envoy had a similar issue, and I found that two of the bolt tabs (holding the bumper on) were broken. Sorta like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v610/th3dumbguy/7-09-08001.jpg

I reconstructed the tabs with some 2-part plastic resin that I have, then reinstalled the bumper after they cured. The bumper is completely straight now and the headlight gap is eliminated. If I have to remove the bumper for anyhting in the next month or so, I'll take a pic of the repair and post it in this thread.

the bumper is new but I will look into it. Another thing, could it affect it that is an after market bumper cover and not the original gm one?

Definitely looks like the bumper cover may have received a tap or something is loose/broken behind it. There is a gap there but just much less pronounced.

I've got the same issue with mine, although the gap isn't that big. I checked the tabs on the sides, which appeared fine, but the bumper is still sagging.

My issue was not the tabs on the sides. They were actually located near/under the headlight. Once I removed the grill, I could see the damages tabs.

Sometime though, they're not damaged. They could just need some re-adjusting and tightening of the bolts.
