Two Questions About the P0172 Code

My truck threw this code on Monday morning. I came here to research on Monday night, and found references to a P0172 "flow chart," but no links to it or thread featuring it. The code cleared on its own the next day.

So I have two, perhaps interrelated, questions.

1. Where is the P0172 flow chart?

2. Given the circumstances, what is the most likely cause of the code this time?
