TICKING from UNDER the engine?

No it is not the fan clutch. I just had a new exhaust manifold put on, but there is still a ticking sound coming from under the engine bay. If you put your head in the front wheel wells you can hear it best. It sounds like a very small exhaust leak, and it drowns out the ticking noise of the fan clutch. Any ideas?

I'd pull the belt and start it for a short time - off just to be certain it's not one of the belt driven items.
