Throttle Body spacer?

What exactly are these performance parts supposed to do? and do they work? I figure since i am using the K&N metal pipe kit with an AEM filter why not add the spacer too? but i don't want to burn money if its not going to do anything.

They are snake oil.

Never worked. Fundamentally cannot help ANY function of the engine.

Don't waste your money or even brain cycles thinking about them.
