My wife's car finally wanted to start acting up too much. I gave her the explorer, cleaned her car up and sold it. Promptly found this 95 Jimmy. It needs a couple things, but is in fabulous shape. I've always wanted another s series since I got rid of my first blazer 10 years ago, so I'm super stoked for this. I also love that I paid cash, since my mod money will not be sucked up by a car payment.

Congrats! My Mother had a 95' Blazer before she got her 02' TB, I didnt care for driving the Blazer but I will say it was a beast in the snow.
(I think it needed suspension work FWIW) So dont worry I am not dogging it,

How many miles are on it?

Thanks. I'm digging it so far. Has 178k. Top end of the motor rebuilt, new ecm. Needs a little work, but i can't stress how clean it is. I already deracked and cleaned all of the old stickers off. I'm expecting it to be in exceptional form for Carlisle this year.

I thought you had a full size blazer or something like that?

One week in. Coolant leak fixed, sway bar links replaced, deracked, lowered 2". Sitting nice at 30.5" ground to fender. Also noticed it has a performance muffler, most likely thrush. As soon as the weather breaks, I am definitely painting the frame.

Nice! We had a Jimmy when I was a kid, I think it was a 98. Mom later had two S Blazers in a row, a LOADED 98 and an 01 that was a giant pile of crap. I don't know what the difference was, someone told me that GM changed something about the 4.3s, but the 98 Blazer was way better in every way concerning how well it ran and also in gas mileage.

It's looking sharp! Lotsa cool stuff you can do to a 4.3 to get some power out of it, especially a Votrec 4.3.
