Mat and I noticed that the brakes have been squealing for some time now. We have the cheap "Organic" brakes on which came on the truck, with no indicator. We took the pads off to check them, and they are all half worn, but worn evenly. Where would the noise be coming from? Would brake grease do us any good? Should we just put on new pads and go from there? The caliper's look good, but the rotors are pretty rusty, along with the rotor guards being extremely rusty as well. The noise I believe is coming from the front of the truck. It's not loud at all, it actually took Mat saying something before I noticed the noise.

It sounds like your pads have a glaze on them. Take them off and clean them off with a piece of sandpaper mounted on a 2 x 4. Keep the pad flat on the sandpaper. Then take the sandpaper/2 x 4 and sand the edges of the pads to bevel them a little. This should get rid of the squeal.
