Everytime I looked under the front of my Envoy there was a tangle of spiderwebs on the lower left suspension. I clean them out and they're back the next day!

While working under it today I took a map torch and pointed it up through the hole in the bottom of the lower A-frame near the ball joint. Soon I see some unusually large spider legs reaching out of the A-Frame near the front bushing.

I tried to grab it by the legs with needle nose pliers, it pulled those legs off :sadcry: I was finally able to use a screwdriver to get in behind it and push it out. It survived the heat!

I put the 3/8" drive ratchet next to it for comparison.

Does that critter happen to have a red hourglass on its abdomen?
The "red hourglass" appeared comically small on it's abdomen but was quite clear.

That's a baby where I come from.

That's the biggest Black Widow I've seen in CA but I've seen other spiders as big as my hand and webs 10' across.

Note: it's 2 largest legs are missing.
