If you have a scanner can it do a "live" showing? My scanner is an Innova 3160 and something I have seen on it is the current speed. Since it is reading the speed it leads me to think the stepper motor has gone out again. I have replaced the stepper motor twice on my '04 for my speedo and it has gone out again. Now I just use my garmin gps as a speedo and with it sitting up on the dash I don't need to take my eyes off the road to see my speed. I purchased a "heads-up" display through amazon, but it didn't work. I had to pay shipping back to hong-kong (not kidding either) and still am awaiting my refund since december.
