Solved: releasing the not so easy quick release heater hose.

I have got one heater hose unhooked and both AC hose things. But the one heater hose will not release. The one side looks like it is unhooking but I cannot see the bottom. I have the inside dash and all that goes with it taken apart. Steering wheel is down. My goal is to get to the Hvac system to replace a blend door. I have replaced the module resistor and pig tail wiring due to it being melted. You Tube made it all look so easy. Not so Much. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe there's just tension on the hose. Did you try just pushing the hose in a bit and then squeezing the tabs.

I found that the issue is the plastic breaks down enough that when you squeeze the tabs in the plastic just bends and does not release the clips. You must get in there with some sore of tool to actually push the clips down and the hose will slide right off.

Ok thank you for the suggestions. After bruised knuckles and sore fingertips, removing some things in the way I was able to get a better angle and got it to release. Whihoo.... without breaking anything. Getting closer...
