I thought I'd start a thread for anyone to post pictures (teasers) of upcoming mods.

I've decided that the SS needs a little more thump...

Can't let Sam have ALL the fun around here!

Picked up some Black Friday deals for a mini upgrade to my slightly better than stock sound system. Nothing earth shattering like the previous posts though.

Alpine MRX-V60 5 channel amp

KnuKoncepts 4 gauge amp kit, don't think my current 8 gauge one is gonna cut it!

Since I have the non Bose system and want to add an amp for the door channels, I bought this 20' long 9 channel speaker wire bundle to run from the amp, back up to the HU area to tap back into the stock wiring, that way I don't have to run new wires to the door.

I wanted a rear view camera, but couldn't quite get off the fence on which style I wanted. I went with this flush mount style, and ordered a hitch receiver cap. Plan to drill a hole in the cap, and mount the camera right in the hitch, since I never tow anything, this should be a good spot.

Earth vibrating, maybe. Shattering, not even close. (my name isn't Martin, you know)

Besides, that new head unit puts my OEM Bose to shame!
(okay, any aftermarket head unit does that) :frown:

OK, so I have a better radio, dome lights and cooler side mirrors. Do we even need to start a list of what's better in your TB than in mine? :hopeless:

One for the SS, one for the 'Hoe. Neither will be installed soon. :frown:

The headlights need modded before install (and I need to get H1 HID bulbs for them). The bowtie won't go on until the crossbar is color matched.

You should do a temporary pre-mod install of those lights, so you can post some pics for the other members curious about how these look. :twocents:

That seemed to be the biggest draw back when we first talked about these lights, no pictures of how they look installed and turned on. I look forward to seeing how these look on the truck...

Talked me in to it. I did hook up 12V to the DRL/devil eye. The side DRLs are nice and bright. The devil eye...well, not so much. My mod plans include separating the circuits, changing the LEDs in the devil eyes and a light coat of VHT on them. (just the ring)

I decided the 'Hoe also needed a little audio upgrade.

And, for those who have never seen one, that is an 8" sub.
The Tahoe came with a factory 8" sub. This JBL will go in the factory enclosure.

The 'Hoe needs some new shoes.

So...I decided to upgrade a little. These are on the way. (should arrive tomorrow) A chrome replica of the 2007 Tahoe LTZ rim. I'll be putting Yokohama Parada Spec-X in a 265/50R20 on.

edit:
They arrived!
