2002 Chevy Trailblazer LS 4.2L
I'm making my question as simple as I can. What is the OEM belt size for this SPECIFIC vehicle? I have seen so many posts for the past 4 hours about which size is oem, correct, better this better that...
2300, 2325, 2320.... so I'm making it simple & I will decide from there.
What is the OEM size for this SPECIFIC vehicle? Sorry if that sounds rude, it's that after reading all that & still not finding a straight answer, you get a little frustrated.

The correct serpentine belt length for a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer with a 4.2L engine is approximately 91.34 inches (or 2320 mm).

What @mrrsm said.

Same belt as I put on my girl's 2002 LS TrailBlazer.

Dayco, Continental and Bando were showing different lengths. Gates and AC Delco and Genuine GM show the correct lengths.

That info is at RA.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RESPONDING AND YOUR HELP! You have no idea what it's like to go around in circles... maybe you do, sorry. To get simple answers. Along with me reading 4 hours of posts I spoke to five, 5!, mechanics and not a single one of them could give me a straight answer. This is face to face by the way. They informed that if I go to AutZo, or the one with the O' they could tell me. Guess why I had to come here, they're the ones that gave me the three measurements I stated. So I truly appreciate this, THANK YOU!

Lots of manufacturers will advertise their belt as a replacement because it is within a "tolerance" and then they don't have to make another belt and therefore saves them money. The AC Delco or genuine GM is typically the way to go.

Or ask here.

HOWEVER, it also depends if you have a SWB or LWB (EXT). The EXT uses a shorter belt because it has a smaller power steering pulley. If yours is an EXT, this is the one you need:

But he said it is an LS, just like my girl's 2002.

I do see what you are saying though. That would explain the length differences. The op did not say that the length differences were listed in the EXT choices.

I do believe there were LS versions of the EXT.

AI Overview

The 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT, the extended-length seven-passenger variant, was primarily offered in
LS and LT trim levels. Both trims featured a 4.2L I-6 engine with either 2WD or 4WD configurations, providing a longer wheelbase and third-row seating compared to the standard model.
