Same newbie, different troubles.

Just got the wife's Trailblazer out of the shop last Thursday. They replaced the pcm and fixed a broken connector.
On the invoice it shows that the found a p0128 code when they brought it in .
Friday morning the engine light came on.
I ran the code on a code reader this morning and it pulled a p0128.

I posted a link above to a video of the scan.

Notice the "short term fuel trim bank 3".

Should it jump from -91% to + 64%?

0128 is coolant temp too low IIRC? That seriously messes with these engines and I can see that throwing your fuel trim off but damn, that is a little crazy. After a relearn is over the fuel trim (especially long term) normally will level off at a pretty constant value. But it is looking like you really need to throw in a new thermostat and coolant temp sender....

Bank 3? Probably just a PID that is not applicable to our ride. I wouldn't sweat it. Kinda weird that it lists a 3 and not a 2.

That part of it got past me, right, that's not right or just mislabeled... It has to be something if it has a changing value but your right there is no bank 3.... no 2 for our vehicles even...


I guess were all guilty of selective reading sometimes haha
