I'll let this service as a pic thread for my completed and in progress projects. If you've gotten lights from me, post em up. To kick off the thread, a few of the lights I just finished for HarmleSS, and a set I just did for my obs blazer.

Couple better shots of mine. Going to switch out the 194 lamps for amber and spray the sockets black.

You need to update your profile, it's still showing your S-Dime.

Cutoff from 30' and 20', and a shot from the front at about a 3/4 view.

Very cool man. Are you doing this as a part time business or full time? Do you have a shop where you do it? What can you see in the cutoff pictures that differentiates these headlights from lesser competitors?

It's a part time business at the moment. Doing it from my home workshop, but looking for a commercial garage to push for full time. The cutoff is simply showing the alignment of the projectors which, I guess, attests to the quality in fabrication. If you want to know what sets me apart....I am an artist and I make sure to use parts that work with the vehicle design. The fabrication is rock solid and I always like to try new things. I keep prices reasonable where others overcharge for labor. I stand by my work and always make sure the customer is satisfied in the end.

Very cool. Projectors and HIDs are definitely on the mod list. I'll definitely have to hit you up. I like that you say it's about fitting with the vehicle's design.

It has to be. You have these ostentatious mass produced lights that look like they belong on a spaceship and people eat it up. Sure they are cheaper than a retrofit, but they look like shit and don't fit the style of most vehicles. Custom is awesome, but when I look at a modified car I like to think "it should've Bern like that from the factory" not "what were they thinking".

That's a good question. I know I havent, but I'd love to. Done a ton of trailblazer lights. Just took my first envoy order. I've done a bunch of other models as well.

Planning on doing mine. My only concern (besides getting them in straight and aligned properly) is the depth of my reflector bowls. Don't want the projector sticking way out looking bug eyed. Like someone's strangling it lol. Like to do quads. I need to get a new set of lights and pull them apart and see what's what. I'd like to use the FXR's or D2S's. My lights are all sandblasted. So I need new ones anyway. Pricey little buggers though.

I was thinking of doing a retrofit in my Silverado at some point using the mini H1 projectors again, but now I'm thinking I should go all out and use the FX-R if it will fit in there. That's the thing, I really don't know. Smitty do you know whether they would fit, have you worked with the FX-R much?

As far as I know, the fxr units would be way too big for most silverado lights...depending on year. The newest body style has room, but prior years are tight. I've done h1 and d2s in nbs, nnbs, and obs.

OK. As Mounce said I have an 07 (not classic). Still learning the lingo, which years are which for OBS, NBS, NNBS?
