Not a big deal or anything but,if you overstuff your storage compartment and break the cheapo latch as I did you might be interested in this non-critical retro-fit.
I see a lot of replacement latches on Ebay so it seems that these break quite often.I found a metal latch on Ebay that with a little modification works really well with the original striker plate and will never break...Mike.
