rear lamps board

hi
i have a problem with my right rear lamps board ,the brake bulb always melting and the socket is damaged , should i just change the board or i have to look for a problem ??

I have had to replace one side on my truck, as the socket had melted. I got lucky and did not have a melted pigtail connector as some people have had. Just my , but if the wires and plug going to the board are ok and the board is the only damage, then just replace the board. I think you can pick them up on eBay or RockAuto.com .
