hello all,
I have a rattling noise coming from my front when i go over bumps. Sounds bad? i was maybe thinking sway bar end links and shocks? the vehicle is a 2003 envoy xl with 113,000 miles on it and still original front shocks. go underneath of it a few weeks ago, and looks like the passenger side end link had been replaced at one time because it has a grease fitting. any input before i dump money into it. I can do everything myself. no taking it to a mechanic. forget the last time i have taken a car to a mechanic for something other than tires.

before you buy anything, take the wheels off, check for play in the soft parts: sway bar end links, bushings and brackets, tie rods, upper and lower arm bushings and ball joints...

Get the shocks done cause if they are the original then they are toast . And when you are doing the shocks inspect other parts as you go. Easy peasy.

Also check the nuts on the replaced end-link. They've been known to loosen.
