Best I ever saw on the DIC was 22.4 mpg or 10.5L /100km, a trip in July on the hiway to Toronto driving east probably with a bit of tail wind.
Daily hiway commute averages 18-19 MPG or 12.5-13L /100km.

, I get some good mpg's when I travel to Esco/San Marcos area. Even though I set my cruise control at 70 Im happy with the mileage :wootwoot:Good to know I'm in the ballpark. I havent done the math to figure exactly where I am at but.... I am at 17.6 MPG average since I got my 2006 Trailblazer LT EXT in early july. A fair amount of town miles in there too. I'll take it on such a large vehicle!
On both my v8 360's the hwy mpg's are actually decent but the intown drags it way down. My 9-7 is averaging 17.8 to 17.9 mpg's on a tank and it just recently dropped below that for what I assume is because of the winter gas. Highway mpg's only are always at least 21-22 and that's generally 70mph the whole time. Towing my 4000+ pound boat they get 14ish generally but a head wind or tail wind is more noticable on the mpg's when towing. Towing my much lighter two place sled trailer and two sleds and suprisingly the mpg is close to the same 14.

Best I have seen was 26, this was heading back up north from Florida about 4 years ago. Fiance took over for a while and she woke me up to let me know we would be home in 2 hours and if anyone needed a restroom break, etc. Well we stopped at the 95/301 interchange in VA, fill up was like 13.2 or 13.4 gallons. She drove 342 miles IIRC. I was like WTF, I asked if she tailgated an 18 wheeler, how fast was she going, she said not tailgating and doing about 65-70 with cruise Best I have seen with me driving was 22.5, and I average 15.9 rural/suburb driving.
Well, I just calculated my last full tank of gas with the identical drive as when I get my 17.8 and 17.9 mpg and the manual calc showed 15.1 mpg's. Worst I've ever seen given the same driving habits and route every day. Not sure what that's about.
Drove from Charlotte nc to Ashville NC. up and down the whole way cruze set anywhere from 70-80. Avg mpg was 19 and that was a 6 mile 6% hill i had to climb.
I also had both the fwd and AWD GMC Acadias for long periods of time and the mpg's sucked on both of those as well. Same weight vehicle but way less torque to get you moving. All that technology and innovation in a far less capable vehicle for marginal improvement in MPG's.
